Testimonials
“We’re very grateful to the Exeter Foundation for their continued support of Vranch House. Their donation of £25,000 was significant in helping us achieve our 50% funding target for the £500,000 redevelopment cost of our hydrotherapy pool. The pool is used by approximately 1,000 users a year. It helps the pupils and patients of Vranch House, who have a range of physical disabilities, as well as adults with learning disabilities and other adults recovering from strokes and similar medical conditions who live in the wider Exeter community” Andrew Barge, Vranch House
“We cannot thank the Exeter Chiefs Foundation enough for their continued support since we set up and registered as a charity in 2018. As a match day designated charity, we are not only supported financially, but are also given the opportunity to spread awareness of our mission with spectators and supporters at Sandy Park. The credibility of being associated with the Exeter Chiefs is incredibly important to us and is particularly helpful when delivering CPR/defib training sessions to young people in schools.
“We have also been successful with a number of grant funding applications. The grants have enabled us to increase the number of publicly accessible defibrillators in the greater Exeter area as well as a larger van which has helped us to expand our work and training. We have no doubt that much of the success that we have achieved as a charity can be accredited to the support that we have received from the Exeter Chiefs Foundation!” Dan Osborne, Jay's Aim
"FORCE Cancer Charity has been delighted to be a designated charity of The Exeter Foundation since it was set up. We have greatly-appreciated the opportunity that this has given us not only to raise awareness of our charity and of the work that we do, but also to fundraise.
FORCE has so far received nearly £60,000 from The Exeter Foundation and as all of our work continues to rely entirely on voluntary donations, this money is vital. A large proportion of this money has helped to fund two vehicles: our outreach van has already been well-used, taking out many of our services to Okehampton and Tiverton one day a week respectively; and our newest vehicle will be taking out the drugs as well as FORCE-funded nurses, so that chemotherapy can be administered in Tiverton.
Sincere thanks to the Trustees of The Exeter Foundation for their continued support of FORCE Cancer Charity, as well as to everyone who supports fundraising events for the charity – which in turn benefits FORCE and many other local charities." Naomi Cole, FORCE
"Calvert Devon is a fully accessible activity centre - adventure, inclusivity and inspiration are at the heart of everything we do. Fundraising plays a vital role in making these adventures possible for people of all abilities.
"We're incredibly grateful for the long-term support of Exeter Chiefs Foundation, who in recent years have funded an accessible hand crank bike, a canoe and specialised harnesses for climbing, abseil and king swing activities.
"Your support will help us continue to create unforgettable experiences and lasting memories for years to come." Jennifer Young, Calvert Devon
