Christmas Lunch is hailed a success

The Legendary Charity Christmas Lunch organised by VisionRe: took place on 6th December 2013 at Sandy Park and was yet again a roaring success with more money than ever being raised for the designated charities; Devon Wooden Spoon and The Exeter Foundation including its ‘White Line Fever’ programme.

Around 400 guests gathered at Sandy Park to support the infamous lunch that encompasses some serious fund raising with enormous fun and entertainment, and a delicious three-course meal – made all the more raucous by the ‘Sing for your Pudding’ section of the lunch!

Also, the event was supported by the talented classical opera group ‘The Sirens’, an exquisite vocal trio specialising in perfect three part harmony singing their own arrangements of famous classical arias, power ballads and pop songs alongside hilarious interval comedy improvisational group ‘Improperly’.

Next year’s event is already well underway when ‘Jethro’ has agreed to entertain after his brilliant set at 2011’s lunch and Sirens Song have also been preparing for their come-back!

With the expansion at Sandy Park next year’s event will accommodate 650 revellers.

If you are interested in a table then contacting Afroditi at Sporting Vision on enquiries@sporting-vision.co.uk will let you know availability and secure your booking.

The event is generally fully sold out by the end of April each year.
