Devon Sports Awards 2013 - Finalists Announced

The Exeter Foundation will be joining forces with Active Devon to host the regional Devon Sports Awards that year on year encompass the entire county in order to celebrate local sport and its various achievements. This year, Active Devon will be celebrating its tenth anniversary of hosting the awards however, it will be the first time since the awards began that they have joined forces with the Exeter Foundation and are proud to announce this year's finalists.

Active Devon is a not-for-profit organisation, so unlike similar awards, all monies raised on the night will go directly to the Exeter Foundation.

Tony Rowe, Chairman of the Exeter Foundation said, ‘this is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that is great about local sport and raise money for good causes at the same time.’

The ceremony, hosted by Jenny Walrond (BBC Spotlight) takes place at Sandy Park, Exeter on Friday 10th May where the winners of each category will be announced. Tickets are available for the evening at a cost of £65.00 or a table of ten is £625.00, this includes a three course meal, entertainment and access to the Awards Ceremony.
