Eighteen cyclists from the Exeter Chiefs Cycle Club completed their 12th charity ride, covering 330 miles in just four days from Bilbao in northern Spain to Toulouse in southern France in time for the men’s Investec Champions Cup game.

Following the northern Spanish coastline before heading inland through the beautiful rural landscapes of southern France, the team was supported by three dedicated helpers travelling in two vans, keeping everyone supplied with food and water along the way.

Organiser David Cosford said: “The real goal is to raise as much money as possible for the 26 Devon charities supported by the Exeter Chiefs Foundation. These organisations do invaluable work in our local communities, and every donation can help make a genuine difference to the lives of people across Devon.

“This was another memorable adventure for the Exeter Chiefs Cycle Club, combining endurance, camaraderie and a little unexpected drama in support of a very worthwhile cause.”

If you would like to make those miles count, donations can be made here.
