The Foundation Fifteen
There will be the opportunity to showcase interesting and significant fundraising events that you are planning to hold, or have held, in support of the charity and your business can link to the Foundation website and use the Foundation logo.
A further benefit will also be improved public perception of how your business discharges its corporate social responsibilities through its clear commitment and association with the Foundation.
The Foundation Fifteen is open to businesses of all sizes and is designed to be fully inclusive, so no matter how big or small your workforce is, you have an opportunity to play your part.
The categories consist of:
- The Chiefs category, for businesses which employ more than 100 people in the area and/or which raise more than £10,000 in any one year
- The Braves category, for businesses which employ more than 25 or less than 100 people in the area and/or which raise a minimum of £5,000 in any one year
- The Academy category, for businesses which employ less than 25 people and/or which raise a minimum of £2,000 in any one year
Squad members in each category commit to raising the minimum for the size of their business and have the opportunity to “win promotion” to the next tier.
All members of the Foundation Fifteen will be recognised at the annual Foundation dinner that takes place in September at Sandy Park. There will be awards for the most prolific fundraisers in each category. At this event, we distribute funds to our designated
charities who have raised money from car parking, draw tickets and bucket collections that take place on match-days.
The first season kicks off on September 1, 2012 and runs for 12 months. Early applications are welcome and any money raised before this date will count towards the 2012/13 season.
